Welcoming Dominik Frank to the Wimmers Lab

The Wimmers Lab welcomes its newest PhD candidate, Dominik Frank. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at the University of Ulm, and later completed his Master’s degree at the University of Tübingen in the same field. His academic focus has been primarily on protein interaction profiling and immunological omics techniques, utilizing high-throughput assays and mass spectrometry. Working at the interface of wet lab experimentation and data analysis, he has developed a strong interest in data mining.

At the Wimmers lab, he will use his prior experience and learning skills to advance the knowledge of vaccine-induced immune system dynamics in cancer and health to unveil novel treatment perspectives.
